Quilmes Lager pours a very pale, straw colour with medium carbonation bubbling to a fluffy, white head that dropped to a nice lace, rings on the glass. The aroma offer up light cereal notes, light cooked corn and a mild sweet sugar coated pastry. Flavour provides creamy sweetness with a touch of lemon grass in the finish, very thirst quenching offering along with the hop and creamy corn accents. Definitely not overbearing on the palate. Mouthfeel is light bodied with a spritzy natured carbonation. Not too heavy of a taste, but the elements that are there tie together nicely and make a delicious beer. It is extremely easy drinking and would go down smooth and refreshing on a summer day. The most popular beer in Buenos Aires brewed from local barley and hops and purest Patagonian water.
