(Southern Highland) Tullibardine Sovereign Malt Whisky 70cl

A reinvigorated release from Tullibardine, upping the quality of presentation as well as their whisky. This bourbon barrel matured dram is packed with vanilla and spice. The Nose is fragrant and floral. tinned peaches and sweet honey syrup. A touch of lavender bread and apple blossom. Fruity on the palate, with milk chocolate, malt, and subtle cinnamon. Viscous and a little oily. barley, pear drops and creamy chocolate notes, Danish pastry with vanilla custard. Sweetness grows. Orange rind and fresh ginger slices covered in milk chocolate. The finish fades quite quickly leaving powdered ginger and cinnamon. Comment: A nice dram with some interesting layers of flavour
