Goldschlager Schnapps is a cinnamon-tasting liqueur with real gold flakes inside. The flakes are said to create tiny cuts in your throat and stomach, with the idea being that the alcohol enters the bloodstream faster and gets you drunk quick. Goldschlager Schnapps pours clear with floating gold particles. Sweet, hot, cinnamon and pepper nose. A smooth, crisp entry leads to a semisweet, medium-bodied palate with spicy, cinnamon, caraway, and white pepper notes supported by smooth alcohol. Finishes with a hearty glow and surprisingly little burn.
