Pereira d'Oliveiras Madeira made in the style of a Malmsey this has a distinctly sweet, fat palate with a crispness so typical of Madeira. This well-established family owned company was founded in 1820 and has a reputation for lighter, drier styles of Madeira that have good balancing acidity. Made from the extremely versatile Tinta Negra Mole grape. It can vary in character depending on where it is grown on the island and how it is vinified.
This sweet, rich wine is mahogany in colour. It has a fruity bouquet with hints of barley sugar, raisins and toffee with a fresh, clean finish.
