Original Soggy Dollar Old Dark Rum. The Soggy Dollar is a bar situated in the British Virgin Isles, Jost Van Dyke isle to be exact. It is perhaps most famous for it's claim to be the original creators of the famed Pusser's Painkiller cocktail. Handcrafted, aged and triple distilled with natural cane sugar molasses, vanilla and caramel aged in oak casks for a smooth rich flavour and deep golden colour. The nose is light and authentic with a nice balance of toffee, vanilla and a touch of nutmeg and ginger. The flavour profile starts off peppery, smoothing out into hints of vanilla, dark chocolate, oak and pecan. This blend is balanced but robust, hinting at a fiery, almost navy-style edge.
