Kwaremont Blonde 33cl

Kwaremont blond is just like the killer climb of the Oude Kwaremont in the Flemish Ardennes: fiery and packed with character. This full malt beer delivers that jolt of liquid sugar you crave after pedalling your heart out. The beer is brewed by De Brabandere in Bavikhove. It is a blond beer with a slight amber colour and a pearly foam head. This beer is unfiltered, has a malty taste and boasts of a hoppy aftertaste. Kwaremont has a unique thirst-quenching feel and fruity notes. It is the perfect malty drink to cool off after engaging in an intense activity. It poured with a half finger high white head that settled down, but left a large patch of bubbles in the center of the glass, thick lacing and a collar around the edge of the glass, and a thin layer of bubbles on the surface in between. Light aromas of Belgian yeast are present in the nose along with some hints of spices. The taste has flavors of cracker malts intertwined with Belgian yeast and slight bits of sweetness. It feels medium-bodied and quite dry on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
