Normandy Poire Cidre, Bayeaux Poire de Normandie is an authentic pear Cider very like our rare west-country farm varieties, totally unlike those abominations that pass themselves off as wine to the ignorant. Pours Golden with rising bubbles. Aromas are sweet and fairly syrup pear juice with hints of wood, caramel and vanilla. Flavours are sweet pear, quite soft on the palate with some acidicy. Crisp & off-dry, this really pleases the palate. Has a nice sparkle, very refreshing and easy to drink.
