(Weissebier) Paulaner Heffe Weisse 50cl

Paulaner Heffe Weisse is an exceptional Hefe-Weizen. Its colour is a hazy straw hue, but it is not a wheat brew trying to be a pilsner. Paulaner Heffe Weisse has a fine, tighly-knit pure white head commendably tenacious. A perfect pour. It is unfiltered as the name suggests, and this is evident in its appearance and in the nose. The nose is highly phenolic, with a big fruity bouquet that is dominated by banana and apples to a lesser extent. Also typical of heffes, cloves are evident, but not as distinct as in other representatives like Schneider Weisse. On the palate, the fruitiness is confirmed as is the clove character. It is a very refreshing brew, but not merely a "lawnmower beer." Truly a thirst quencher that can be enjoyed year-round.
