A traditional wheat beer brewed by Augustiner-Bräu, Munich's oldest independent brewery. Augustiner Weissbier pours a hazy, glowing orange-amber with a thick, frothy, and remarkably stable white head. The aroma is sophisticated and balanced, offering prominent scents of clove-like spice and freshly baked wheat bread, with more subtle notes of green banana and citrus zest compared to other punchier hefeweizens. On the palate, it is incredibly smooth and "pillowy," delivering a creamy mouthfeel that tastes of honeyed grain and gentle fruit esters. The finish is clean, lively, and highly effervescent, leaving a delicate, lingering spiciness and a refreshing tartness that makes it exceptionally easy to drink.
