A blended whisky from Japan's Yamazakura range, which is brought to market by Japanese company Sasanokawa Shuzo. The name itself a portmanteau of two Japanese terms 'Yama' means 'mountain' and 'Sakura' means cherry tree. A delicate and harmonious expression that embodies the spirit of Japanese craftsmanship. On the nose, it opens with gentle aromas of orchard fruits such as apples and pears, accompanied by subtle floral notes and a hint of vanilla. The palate is smooth and light, offering flavors of honey, toffee, and a touch of citrus zest, balanced with a soft oakiness. The finish is clean, slightly dry, and lingering, with whispers of sweet malt and a faint nutty character.
