The Salford rum range is a celebration of the history of the Salford docks; inspired by the imports of rums, fruits and spices from the Caribbean in the early 1900s. Small batch, copper-column distilled dark spiced rum blended with a mix of spices in oak bourbon barrels. Delicious notes of vanilla, coconut, burnt caramel, cloves and oaky wood spice dance on the palate. Subtle hints of dark chocolate and coffee emerge, adding complexity alongside the rich molasses base. The finish is long and warming, with lingering notes of oak spice, vanilla, and a peppery kick. The sweetness from the dark fruit and molasses fades into a mild, earthy spiciness that stays on the palate.
