Harrogate Pinewoods Pale Ale 50cl

Citrusy American hops, balanced with traditional British malts. Pinewood is an 18th century woodland south-west of Harrogate. It pours a pleasant golden colour, with a dense and lasting head. It has a surprisingly powerful nose of hops, with orange-citrus, earthy tones, plus a hint of grainy malt. In the mouth it remains dry, yet very fruity - citrusy orange and grapefruit flavours, tempered by some rounded malt and caramel notes. It is quite gentle in terms of condition, and there are some powdery chocolatey notes. Finish is again predominantly bitter, leaving a, citrusy, grapefruity hop aftertaste. This is much more full-flavoured than we would normally expect from a light ale, combined with its low carbonation and clean finish, this makes it a very enjoyable session beer.
