(Helles) Tegernsee Helles Lager 50cl

Tegernseer Hell is a quintessential Bavarian Helles lager, widely regarded as one of the finest examples of the style. Brewed by the Herzoglich Bayerisches Brauhaus Tegernsee, located in a former Benedictine abbey on the shores of Lake Tegernsee south of Munich, it follows the traditional German Purity Law. The nose is delicate and fresh, featuring notes of grainy malt, rustic bread, and a light touch of floral, grassy hops. Some drinkers also detect subtle hints of honey and hay. It is full-bodied yet soft, leading with a bready malt sweetness and a biscuit-like base. This is complemented by a very low hop bitterness and a faint spicy or citric undertone. The finish is exceptionally clean, crisp, and dry, leaving a refreshing aftertaste of fresh pilsner malt.
