In South Yorkshire they like their blondes big and blousy - and this ale from the award winning Acorn Brewery is certainly no shrinking violet. A light golden-coloured strong ale, this new brew delivers biscuity flavours from Maris Otter pale malt with a little crystal malt. English Challenger hops give a good bitterness level and German Brewers Gold together with Slovenian Bobek hops add a fruity, spicy character. Light golden beer with well balanced creamy malt and fruit on the taste. The aroma here is definite, hops - with a hint of fruit. Balanced caramel and solid hoppiness in the mouth and a predominantly hop bitter finish. A late charge of Slovenian hops give a refreshing crisp finish
