A ginger-forward gin from the folks at The Lickerish Tooth, Egton, North Yorkshire, made with many of the same botanicals as their Sheep's Eye Gin, though with a few slight differences and, well, much more spicy ginger coming through on the nose and palate. Tasting: Ginger snaps, honeycomb, peppery juniper and a touch of liquorice root. At first taste the juniper, angelica and liquorice flavours will hit you, followed by some of the secret botanicals, and finally, the warming taste of the ginger, which gives it a long, warm finish. Best served with tonic or try with lemonade. Oh the toad around the neck, harks back to when the Plague Doctor's wore dead toads
