Naylors Toffee Temptation 50cl
Rich dark mild made with black and chocolate malts. Black treacle is added to give a toffee aroma and extra sweetness. Brothers Stephen and Robert Naylor began brewing back in 2001 at The Old White Bear public house they owned in Cross Hills, near Keighley. a lovely treacle aroma. Taste is malty, caramel, biscuit. Delicious but pretty sweet! Quite thick and oily in the mouth. No real bitterness. Flavour of roasted malts, toffee, caramel, hint of vanilla. Fairly sweet finish. Smooth semi dry palate with moderate carbonation. Good toffee and indeed, treacle. Dark chocolate underneath and sublte red fruits. Quite well joined up, finishes smooth.
