Wharfebank Othello Gold 50cl

Wharfebank Othello Gold is an English-hopped golden ale, brewed with American hops, named for the Domesday Book name for Otley, just up the road. It pours a pale to medium gold, with quite a persistent white head. The aroma is soft and malty, notes of butterscotch, brown sugar and some grassy hop notes. Pretty light on the mouthfeel with a welcomed crispy touch. Juicy malt, spicy hops and citrus fill the mouth followed by a bittersweet finish with rich malt, tangy hops and tart fruit; it finally becomes dry and hoppy.
