Durham Bombay IPA 50cl

This bottom fermented beer originates from Bavarian cool fermented lagered (stored) beers. Our first lager beer which has become traditional at Christmas time. Unlike other lagers it retains full flavour because it is not filtered. Unusually for this type of beer, it has English Maris Otter Malt as a large component. This gives a full malt character which complements the large quantities of Saaz hops which are added throughout the boil. A hazy yellow beer with a huge lazing white head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits and mango. The flavour is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and lemon, leading to a bitter finish. Round and fruity but fresh pale and easy drinking
