Naylors Yorkshire Ale 50cl

Pours a hazy golden hue with plentiful carbonation. Produces a large head of creamy white foam with excellent retention; this slowly reduces to a thick surface layer. Aroma of grainy malt and floral hops with notes of grass, faint herb essences, mild biscuits, earthy yeast. Tastes of light, grainy malt with a subtle hoppy character. Slightly nutty - delicious. Well attenuated, with a mild, dry bitterness upon swallowing. Mild dry wood and pleasant maltyness in the finish. Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly, with pleasant carbonation and superb body for the style. Bitter to begin with, but mellows once you get to know it. Best drunk wearing a flat cap (whippet optional).
