Omer Blonde 33cl

Omer traditional blonde pours with a nicely retained, rocky white head, and some fabulous lacing. The body was a well-carbonated clear yellow colour. Hard to picture a better looking Belgian Pale Ale. Crisp crackerlike malt character, Belgian yeast aromatics, and big doughy aromas comprise a very rich nose. Some faint whiffs of hops in there as well. Taste is a nice replicate of the nose- malty and doughy, complimented by classic Belgian yeast esters. Some booziness (non-offensive) kicks in midway and lasts through the finish. A surprisingly full body, slightly creamy in texture, complimented by a silky soft carbonation. Goes down smooth enough- at least until the alcohol catches-up on you.
