Moniack Mead is made from honey and is a delicious well-balanced drink It is probably the oldest alcoholic drink in the world and has always been a wine for special occasions, especially during wedding celebrations, hence the name honeymoon. Nowadays we recommend you drink it as an aperitif. In Summer it may be chilled and in winter mulled. A rich gold coloured mead, with an extreme honey aroma with some sweet alcohol and peach. Very very sweet in the flavour, thick and full bodied, clings to the glass well. The taste is surprisingly dry and nutty, but still with plenty of honey. Sweet and full in the mouth with hints of honey that lingers long into the finish.
