Leeds Brewery Best Ale 50cl

Pours a dark golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of orange peel, biscuity malts and earthy hops. A fairly sweet fruity beer with a nice jammy nose. Decent fruity hops in the mouth. A caramel malt base on a smooth palate with a light bitterness. Fruity and medium sweet with rounded mouthfeel. Pleasant biscuity malt flavour followed by a salty finish with good bitterness. A solid bitter. Malty, nutty taste with dried fruit, apricots, orange and generous doses of earthy hops in the finish. Very mild with low bitterness. More aromatic than bitter hopping. Aftertaste is smooth with moderate floral bitterness. Medium body, good balance. Nice and well made bitter.
