The Wessex Distillery has indulged our fruity side with its English Sloe Gin! Blackthorn berries (also known as sloe berries) are steeped for a whole eight months to create the crimson tipple. A brilliant digestif. Notes of Bakewell tart and marzipan, with tart sloe fruitiness and a touch of forest fruit jam. Wessex English Sloe Gin is created with sloe berries sourced from the English countryside, providing a rich flavour. The core element of juniper remains. Almonds are added to add depth and to create a subtle earthy tone. Traditional English sloe gin has a profound British heritage. Wessex have proudly maintained a traditional standard. Compliment with Fever-Tree Lemon Tonic Water and garnish with a lemon slice for the perfect serve.
