Spain Estrella Damm 33cl

A pale golden beer that pours with a fine dense white head that manages to maintain. The aroma to begin with, has corn comeing to the fore-front with hints of spicy malt and only a wiff of hops. Taste is clean, dry and fullish. A little bitey with a citrus like flavour on top of the malt, and a hint of all important bitterness, which adds refreshment -and after all that's what it was invented for. Corn-flavours also abound but its light and easy drinking, soft on the palate with a long biscuity pilsner style finish. This beer is the jewel in the crown of Damm's century-long beer-brewing experience. Since 1876, when Alsatian August Kuentzmann Damm founded the company bearing his name, numerous generations of master brewers have perfected this lager until it has become a landmark in the world of beers.
