Durham Azacca is a Bottle Conditioned Ale, a sessionable IPA with a big hop aroma of citrus and tropical fruit from the use of stunning Azacca hops. These team up with El Dorado, Cascade and Amarillo producing grapefruit bitterness and tropical fruit notes over a pale malt base. Pours golden amber with a large white head with good retention. A rich nose with some bitterness, and loads of golden fruits like pineapple, banana, and peach. Palate has initial hoppy bitterness moving into more rich fruit notes, golden delicious apples as well as the pineapple and banana notes form a nice fruit salad flavour. There is some herbal and pine bitterness on the finish, Brewed to a gluten free recipe by removing the gluten in the finished beer.
