Lowenbrau Beer has been brewed since 1383. Löwenbräu is still produced in Munich, Germany. This best selling German Beer has a refreshing yet characteristic taste. With it being slightly dry, spicy, with a trace of malt and delicately bitter, it makes for the most moorish taste. Lowenbrau Original has a thick, stark-white head and a clear, bubbly yellow-golden appearance, with a decent amount of lacing left behind. The aroma is sweet, lightly-toasted barley malt, and the flavor is of sweet, light malt, biscuit, and a pleasant hop bitterness in the middle and end of the sip. The mouthfeel is light and watery, and Lowenbrau finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, mostly dry, and highly drinkable. This is a very good beer.
