Leeds Brewery Midnight Bell 50cl

Leeds Brewery Midnight Bell pours a gorgeous rich red with lots of lace. Fruity aroma is enticing. Smooth with low carbonation. Fruity with nice acidity accompanied by good solid fruit, fruit sugars. Soft, toffeeish and chewy - almost date-like. Very soft body. The fruits are date-like and the malts are toffeeish, giving this mild a sweet and mellow but very tasty character. Mouthfeel is quite thick, taste is sweet, chocolatey, malt and cocoa, nice moderated dry and slightly hoppy finish. Good, quite tasty and flavourfull. Tastes quite sweet like a porter maybe. Chocolate and light berry or plum are the main notes. Finish is quite smooth and sweet with a hint of malts or smoke in the aftertaste. Quite a nice beer but not too complex
