Daleside Clipped Bush 50cl

A yellowy blonde coloured beer with a nice white head. Nose is mainly hoppy (Challenger and Goldings), with a strong bitter element and a very subtle touch of malt. On the palate it is very bitter and again hoppy, but without being overpowering. Malt is not a major characteristic, but it succeeds in adding enough body to the beer to make it rounded. There is also a citrus tang on the tongue. Aftertaste remains hoppy and bitter, lingering for some time. This is an enjoyable beer, especially for hop lovers. This is a brewery which seems to enjoy bringing out the best in the malts they use, and, on the whole, leave the hops to add balance and character rather than dominate the flavour.
