Wold Top Headland Red Ale 50cl
Headland Red is a premium Ale with a red glow reflecting the Dark Crystal malt and Roast Barley in the brew. Described a mild, but it clearly isn't. More like a dark coloured autumn/winter ale. Deep red in colour, with a light Citrus aroma. A generally malty/fruity flavour throughout with a hint of caramel, but with some balancing hoppy bitterness provided from the Progress Hops which are also used for mild bittering. Sweetish finish. A very drinkable Red Ale.
