Daleside Blonde Lagered Ale has a clear golden colour, with a good white head which fell away to a light cover. Moderate condition, lightly carbonated. Clean fruity, slightly sweet flowery hoppiness in the nose. Its lightly hopped with traces of lemon and light malts, medium sweet with notes of vanilla and oranges. A real citrus kick in the middle with a sweet and hoppy finish. Daleside Blonde is much more like a lager than an ale if chilled, crisp and wonderfully refreshing. This isn't fancy, but it's a pleasure to swill around the mouth. A thirst quencher, but with a sharp edge of bitterness that tells you it's not a throwaway ale.
