North Yorkshire Porter 50cl

Brewed with cocoa nibs, this porter is luscious and velvety, bursting with dark chocolate flavour. A hint of banana in there can be detected as the fruity Abbey yeast it is used. Pours a huge khaki head above brown beer. Nose suggests liquorice, dark chocolate, roasted malt and dark fruits. This has a pretty tart palate, bitter roast and bitter chocolate, dryish stuff. dark fruits, a hint of caramel and subtle liquorice. Taste of chocolate, some treacle, slight dark fruits, a little liquorice, a hint of caramel and subtle spicy hops. Medium bodied and a smooth texture. A spicy, fruity finish. A simple chocolate porter with soft fruits and spiciness.
