Leyrat XO Vielle Reserve Cognac is owned by Francis Abecassis, the Leyrat estate is renowned for the exceptional quality of the Cognac produced from its vineyard. Available in a number of the world's finest restaurants. The colour is old gold. The complex nose opens with nutty aromas, pastry and butterscotch and a hint of dry leaves. It evolves into more pronounced dry fruit and nuts with vanilla undertones. Almost sweet attack followed by a honeyed fruitiness developing into a creamy rich finish with notes of sweet spice and dried fruit. The palate is present and initially quite dry with the long clean finish typical of Leyrat Cognacs.
