The Baron de Sigognac VSOP is a Bas Armagnac older than 7 years. Complex and strong nose, giving floral notes with a characteristic perfume of plums. Very good balance in the mouth, endowed with a suave vanilla taste with notes of crystallised fruits that is very rare in a VSOP. Silver medal at the 2004 International Spirit Challenge in London, the VSOP Baron de Sigognac is a Bas Armagnac grown on sandy soils in the heart of the Bas Armagnac where one finds Domaine de Bordeneuve. Spending six months in new oak followed by a seven year period in old oak, it has noble flavours and is very pleasant on the palate.
