Produced by the wonderful Foxdenton Estate, this is a smartly packaged bottle of their excellent Damson Gin - a rich, jammy, fruity spirit which works beautifully in a Damson Fizz (a mix of Champagne and Damson Gin). Nose: Ripe, rich nose with all kinds of berry fruit, hints of strawberry jam, earthy juniper and black pepper. Palate: Bittersweet palate with almond oil, allspice and damson jam. Hints of tangy plums, prunes, cherry drops and juniper. Finish: Long, fruity finish. Mixed spices, juniper and plum jam. Overall: A ripe, rich, jammy gin-based liqueur.
