Richmond Stump Cross Ale 50cl

Richmond Brewery Stump Cross Ale is a dark rich ale brewed using an all malt grist and traditional English hops. Pours a Deep brown colour with a small light brown head, very nice lace, coffee and chocolate aroma with blackcurrant. Flavours are good, of course coffee and chocolate and nice roasted malt bitterness. Slightly tart fruitiness with chocolate and herbal notes. Quite complex with malty and nutty with notes of prunes and raisins, turning into a nice bitter finish with an earthy/dusty hop character, slight notes of citrus as well. Quite sweet. Decent stuff.
