Mexico Dos Equis Amber Beer 33cl

Dos Equis Amber Beer pours with a lovely darkish copper colour with a bubbly, short-lived head. The aroma is quite subdued, with hints of caramel malt and a touch of grassy hops. Dos Equis Amber is maltier than similar-strength pale Mexican lagers, with distinct caramel notes, though at the same time still quite light. It is bittersweet, with some light hop flavour. Mouthfeel is fine, with good carbonation. Finish is lightly caramelly, leaving a short-lived burnt sugar aftertaste. Dos Equis Amber is a step up from many run-of-the-mill Mexican pale lagers.
