Italy Birra Moretti 33cl

Birra Moretti has a pale gold colour and quickly disippating white head. The nose is toasty and mostly malt-dominated, with secondary hop aromas quite subdued and a soft fruitiness. The mouthfeel is smooth, but feels almost viscous when rolled round the tongue. Birra Moretti is quite full and thick in texture, with lots of lemony fruit and a bit of hoppy bitterness, much sweeter than expected, notes too of chestnuts, citrussy malts, and with a malty finish. It drinks really well with a nice lemony edge. Birra Moretti is probably better served a little warmer to get all the flavours out .
