Great Newsome Frothingham Best 50cl

Pours a dark reddish-amber with medium carbonation and slight haze. Produces a foamy light brown head that lasts for several minutes. A floral hoppy aroma underpinned by sweet malt - notes of grain and citrus. Fantastic! Tastes of sweet caramel malt with stacks of aromatic hops. Plentiful citrus and floral notes, with mild bitterness giving a crisp finish. Mouthfeel is smooth and leaves the palate slightly dry. Nicely balanced between sweet and aromatic bitterness. A nice aftertaste of sweet malt and hoppy flavour. Well worth sampling if you come across it. Gold Winner of 'Best Bitter under 5% in the world' 2013
