New Zealand Steinlager 33cl

Steinlager pours a brilliant pale straw colour, with a rich rocky creamy white head, fine carbonation and modest lace. Fresh creamy lager aroma. Nice rich pale lager malt with good acidity. Hop flavour is lightly spicy, the green bullet hops deliver a clean, crisp bitternessis very subdued and grassy but enough to keep this from being over-sweet. The finish is mildly bitter and modestly sweet, fairly crisp but not dry. Mouthfeel is on the heavy side of Light but not quite medium-light - very much like a Premium Lager, lightly acidic, good carbonation, and no astringency. Steinlager compliments any spicy dish, such as a Thai curry and it's characteristic bitterness sweeps the palate leaving it refreshed and ready for more. Overall: Nearly a breathtaking lager from the underside of the World.
