The Six Isles Whisky is a vatting of whisky from Scotland's six whisky producing Islands. "Big, peaty & malty. Sweet, rubber, with a creamy consistency. Good balance of peat and sweetness." Nose: Clean and light with precise phenolic notes, citrus, vanillam yellow haddock. All quite restrained... in a peaty way. Like standing on a high, rainy moor. Palate: Immediate smoke, but with a balancing sweetness that runs the length of the palate. Long, fruity, dusty. Sweet shop flavours. Children's sweet. Dolly mixtures. Great drive and energy. Finish: Phenolic, dry. Soft liquorice. Some liquorice root. A hint of phenol smokiness, Medium length. Comment :A young, punchy vatting. For beginners and peat lovers.
