Widely considered by beer critics and enthusiasts to be one of the finest examples of the Bavarian Helles style. Brewed in the small village of Schönram near the Austrian border, it is the masterpiece of renowned brewmaster Eric Toft. Schönramer Hell pours a brilliant, crystal-clear pale gold with a dense, creamy white head. The aroma is exceptionally fresh, featuring sweet pilsner malt that smells like freshly kilned grain and meadow hay, backed by a delicate, spicy floral scent from local Hallertau hops. On the palate, the beer is incredibly light yet remarkably flavourful; it delivers a soft, bready sweetness that is perfectly countered by a crisp, lively carbonation. The experience concludes with a bone-dry, snappy finish and a refined hop bitterness that is slightly more pronounced than typical Munich Helles, making it dangerously drinkable
