Moosehead Lager is almost an institution in Canada, with almost a cult following. Brewed by Canada's oldest independent brewery in New Brunswick, Moosehead is brewed from a unique blend of Canadian Barley malt, two types of hops to balance aroma and bitterness and fresh water from nearby Spruce Lake, renowned as one of the best water supplies in Canada for brewing beer. Moosehead is a nice golden yellow lager with a mild head and fairly strong carbonation even though the head disappears quickly leaving no traces. The aroma is a nice barley malt with a hint of citrus. Light in body and highly refreshing, offering a fine balance between malt sweetness and hop bitterness. Made from an age-old yeast culture, Moosehead Lager is brewed longer to impart its unique flavour.
