Saison de Silly is a wonderfully fruity and refreshing beer - slightly sour, but very pleasantly so. Quite a honeyed sweetness which is nicely balanced by a gentle and woody hop bitterness. Saison de Silly is very gentle and well crafted - the woody notes are interesting rather than intrusive, and the sourness is well balanced by both the sweetness and bitterness. Quite an artful juggling act.
