Our base water for The Lakes Vodka is taken from the famous River Derwent with its source high up in the Cumbria fells. This paired with the naturally beautiful surrounds of The Lakes Distillery and its highly experienced team creates the perfect conditions for distilling The Lakes Vodka. Using traditional production methods in the traditional ways, The Lakes Vodka is loving crafted in our small handmade copper pot still, to maintain its delicate aromatics and flavours. Like our gin, we are not employing mass production methods, but taking our time to triple distil our vodka for greater purity, producing a taste of outstanding character and complexity. Rich aroma with a hint of wheat, ultra-smooth and silky, full of character
