Te Bheag Nan Eilean Whisky "unchilfiltered" because it tastes so much better. Though it can become hazy if it gets cold or the bottle is left open, the flavour is lovely. If it becomes cloudy, you know you have the real thing. Nose: Fresh, with a citrus note, good richness, a delicate peatiness and a little touch of cereal. Palate: Much more fat than the chilfiltered, more weight, a good touch of liquorice, though not as creamy as the chilfiltered, it has good toffee-like richness with a delicate peaty note. Finish: good length, with a rich soft spiritiness.
