Cachaca 51 is a Brazilian spirit traditionally distilled from ripe sugar cane in small pot stills. Part is then matured in oak casks. Cachaca 51's smooth taste is the result of blending aged Cachaca with young and fruity Cachaca. It is the ideal basis for many cocktails including the famous Caipirinha: 2 tsp granulated sugar, 8 limes wedges, 2 1/2 oz Gemana cachaca. Directions: Muddle the sugar into the lime wedges in an old-fashioned glass. Fill the glass with ice cubes. Pour the cachaca into the glass. Stir well
