Gordon Finest Gold pours a crisp & clear golden colour with a nice white head that leaves some good lace. The aroma is full of fruity notes: Sweet apples, apricots and peaches are mixed with the smell of alcohol. The taste is sweet with hints of puff pastry, wheat flour and fruit-flavoured marshmallows, but not in an annoying way. Gordon Finest Gold has got a light, plain taste of hops in the background that start before the alcohol hits. Nevertheless the alcohol is quite well masked by the malty sweet and lighter bitter flavours. The soft aftertaste is quite alcoholic, but has got notes of sweet bread, butter and marzipan in their too. Gordon Finest Gold more delicate and refined than it's darker brother.
