Isle of Skye Red Cuillin Ale 50cl

Isle of Skye Red Cuillin Ale is a the bottled version of an award-winning cask ale from the Isle of Skye Brewery. Red Cuillin Beer pours a brownish-red colour with a thin, bubbly head that fades quickly. The nose is malty, with a touch of caramel and some oaty, biscuity notes. On the palate Red Cuillin Ale is lightly malty and oaty, with a nice toasted breadiness and some biscuit notes. It has a decent peppery hop bitterness and very light sweetness, leaving a slightly fruity, but very pleasant aftertaste. It lasted a while in the mouth and this made the next sip all the more pleasant.
