Swannay Brewery Orkney Best pours a crystal clear golden colour, big to moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of fruity hops, notes of tropical fruits. moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, orange, Light bodied. Decent hoppy flavour, some fruitiness first, with floral and apricot notes are dominant with a slight undertow of malt. Light, hoppy and dry. fairly simple but drinkable session beer. Some dryness and bitterness in a crisp malt finish. Decent hop on end, good balance, plenty of flavour for its moderate strength. A very refreshing easy drinking Orkney Light Ale. Hopped with American and Polish hops early and late in the copper.One to enjoy with any type of food at any time of day
