This was formerly known as Glenmorangie's Portwood Finish. This whiskey is aged for a minimum of 10 years in ex-bourbon barrels, and then finished with additional aging for at least two more years in oak "pipes” (casks) previously used for port. Aroma of just-peeled mandarin oranges and Belgian chocolate mint crisps. Taste: A caress of silk velvet on the tongue gives way to a swathe of rich, dark chocolate-enrobed walnuts leaving in their wake the lemony-rose jelly texture of Turkish delight.
